Marianas Hoppers is the first inter-island tour company in the region to offer an exclusive flight, dining and accommodations package. The company provides both day trips and overnight packages and has plans in coming months to expand the service to Saipan.


Chamorrita Swimwear 1Chamorrita Swimwear

Store location: The Plaza Shopping Center, Tumon

Chamorrita Swimwear started in 2014 as a locally designed bikini collection available online before the opening of its first boutique. With fabric and materials sourced from Asia, Stewart designs and measures each garment herself. The store also sells beach dresses, handmade accessories and inflatable standup paddleboards.


ICSIsland Cargo Support

Opened: March 1

Island Cargo Support offers a full range of logistics services to include air freight, ocean freight, forwarding, consolidations and project management. The company offers 24-hour customer service and works with 340 global agents.


Builder's Choice 2Builder’s Choice

Store location: JRV Commercial Plaza, Harmon

Owners: Mary C. Torres and Melissa V. Torres

Managers: Eva C. Garcia and Victor B. Garcia

Builder’s Choice caters to builders, contractors and homeowners offering supplies to outfit residential and commercial building or renovation projects. Its Dededo showroom features tiles, countertops, kitchen cabinets and fencing materials.


Cafe PanaderoCafé Panadero

Opened: Feb. 6

Store location: North Point complex, Yigo

Owners: Arthur J. and Zenaida Zantua

Managers: Arickson Zantua and Renee Helit Jr.

Number of employees: Eight

Café Panadero offers coffee drinks, teas and homemade Italian sodas as well as freshly baked Filipino-style home foods, sandwiches and bakery items. The owners, who have been running the New Fresh Bread Bakeshop in Dededo since 1991 and now also own the Nature’s Fresh Mini Mart & Water Station, plan to open a second Café Panadero branch in the Tumon area and to expand the café to the Philippines and Taiwan in 2017.


Cebu PacificCebu Pacific

Location: A.B. Won Pat International Airport Guam Integrated Air Cargo Facility, Tiyan

Local manager: Emily Wallace

Cebu Pacific, a low-cost carrier based in Pasay City in the Philippines, is operating four weekly flights between Guam and Manila. Guam is the first U.S. destination for Cebu Pacific, and the airline is the only low-cost carrier flying directly between the Philippines and Guam. Its Guam route operates every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, utilizing the airline’s Airbus A321 fleet.


Jo Malone LondonJo Malone London

Opened: March 21

Store location: Lotte Duty Free, A.B. Won Pat International Airport, Guam

Jo Malone London is a British fragrance outlet that offers luxury perfumes, bath and body products and home gifts, such as candles and diffusers. The airport store features a “discovery table,” where customers can try scents, and a “Tasting Bar,” where customers can enjoy hand and arm massages with the brand’s products. Jo Malone London is available in 39 countries.


GMACGuam Martial Arts Center

Opened: April

Location: Route 8, Barrigada

Owners: Shivrani Daryanani and Rajiv Daryanani

The Guam Martial Arts Center is the second gym of Shivrani and Rajiv Daryanani, who also own iFit Guam in Tamuning. GMAC is outfitted with mats and punching bags allowing for training classes in a wide variety of martial arts disciplines including judo, aikido, kickboxing, boxing, Predal Seray, Muay Thai, and tae kwon do.

Vietnamese fusion restaurant VietBowl offers Vietnamese, Filipino, Chinese and Korean cuisines to include Vietnamese specialty soups, noodles and seafood including stuffed squid.
