Representatives from GoPro and TV Tokyo visited the Northern Mariana Islands in June to feature the islands in their respective media.

Digital influencers of GoPro visited Saipan from June 28 to July 3 to capture high-quality videos and photographs of the culture, leisure activities and natural landscape of the NMI with GoPro cameras. In addition, the team of eight uploaded photos and videos of the NMI to their social media channels.

TV Tokyo, a major Tokyo television station, visited Saipan from June 20 to 26 to produce a special episode about the island that aired July 29 reaching an estimated 1.2 million households. The episode provided Saipan with advertising exposure valued at $1 million.
