A Guam Business series for 2018 providing assets and data for Micronesia

Guam is the largest and southernmost island in the Mariana Islands chain. An unincorporated territory of the U.S., Guam is listed by the U.N. as a non-self-governing territory and is under the administrative responsibility of the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Office of Insular Affairs. Tumon Bay, located on the west coast of Guam and just north of the capital Hagåtña, is considered the center of Guam’s tourist industry. About 36,695.41 acres, or 28.41% of Guam’s land is held by the U.S. military, to include Anderson Air Force Base in the north and Naval Base Guam in the south.
