In the Spotlight

Experienced grant writer Holly Rustick tackles the sometimes tedious and lengthy task of grant writing in Wish Granted! Tips, Tools and Templates to Writing a Winning Grant.

With a conversational voice sprinkled with humor and anecdotes, Rustick guides readers through the planning, research and writing stages.

Topics discussed include grant truths and myths and writing structure, as well as instruction on budgeting and identifying an organization’s goals, objectives, outcomes and the needs and target demographic.

Included in the book are templates and resources, including links to grant websites and Rustick’s podcast and video series.

The book is organized in an easy-to-follow format with examples and exercises. Each of the 13 chapters concludes with a summary, a convenient recap that is useful for quick reference later.

Rustick, creator of WEGO Consulting, shares her knowledge and experience of years working as a technical writer for federal contract bids, facilitating fundraisers, crowd funding campaigns and soliciting in-kind donations from large corporations. She also holds a master’s in international political economy and bachelor’s in political science.

Wish Granted! can be purchased at Amazon.com in E-Book and paperback versions, and at Bestseller bookstores and other local retailers. The book is 184 pages.
